Copy NTFS Permissions
|
Copy all security related data along with files. Please note
that security attributes are only supported by NTFS system. |
Use Compatibility mode
|
Set this only if you have problems with file copying on normal
mode. There were few reports on problems with specific USB drives,
which could not handle fast data transfer correctly. When this
option is set, files copying is a bit slower then usual. You can
specify either drive letters (ex. FGM), or use one of placeholders:
* for all drives, \ for network drives, or #
for removable drives |
Verify copy to these drives
|
In addition to Compatibility mode, Synchronize It! now can
verify file copy operations by comparing copied file with the
original one. This would take some time, so use it only if you need
it. Verifying backup copies is known to be a good practice,
though. |
Junctions
|
Junction on Windows is a link to folder. Synchronize It! can
handle junctions as normal folders, as files, or ignore them. Note
that you would need some third party tools, if you want to create a
junction |
Always exclude these files
|
Here you can specify file mask for always ignored files. These
files are skipped independently of Exclude button on Start
Dialog. |
