This page lets you change some common settings of Synchronize It!

Ignore 2 sec difference This option deals with following problem - historically FAT file system stores only even seconds in file time. This means that if you copy file with time 11:46:35 to such system, time will change to 11:46:34. This could cause problems with file comparison based on time. Synchronize It! can handle such situations correctly.
Ignore NTFS daylight savings This is another option handling Windows-specific time problem - in this case NTFS stores file time in GST, and display it using current daylight saving state. This means that, depending on current season, file time can change without your actions.
Clear read-only attribute when copying from CD As follows from it's name, this option will make Synchronize It! to clear appropriate flag from files when updating local folder from CD.
Delete to Recycle bin Files will be deleted to Recycle bin, instead of plain deletion.
Handle empty folders Empty folders will be included in File List, and you can handle them as files - copy, delete etc.
Delete empty folders if all files were deleted If all files were deleted from folder during synchronization, Synchronize It! will delete empty folder too
Make backup Keep backup of replaced files in specified folder.
Use history files Generate history files when synchronizing folders and use it next time. See details
