Zip File Support Other files support General info

You can now compare a normal file with another version of the same file that exists in a zip archive file.

For example, if you have a zip archive file called archive.zip which contains a copy of the file file.dat, you can use the following command to compare the files.

wincmp3.exe file.dat archive.zip

Compare It! shows the results of the comparison in the standard interface, and the title bar contains this icon: Archive file to indicate that the file was extracted from an archive file.

You cannot edit the file extracted from the archive file.
