Select files Dialog Box

The Select files dialog box lets you select two files to compare. Instead of selecting one file at a time, the Select files dialog box lets you:

  • Choose files from a recently used list, by using the Source file and Target file drop-down lists.
  • Swap files  Exchange files by clicking the "swap" button.
  • Drag-and-drop files  Drag-and-drop files onto the appropriate area of the Select files dialog box.
  • Use the standard Open File dialog box to select files, by clicking the browse (...) buttons.

This dialog box can also be useful when you want to select another source or target file from the of ones currently being compared.

Tip: If you like this dialog box, you can set it to open on startup in the Options dialog box, under General options.
