How to compare binary files with Compare It! Excel files comparison Zip support

Binary comparison engine lets you compare files on byte-to-byte basis, displaying comparison results in traditional hexadecimal view. Changes highlighting and editing is similiar to that of text view, but no virtual bytes are added - place of bytes insertion\deletion is highlighted instead. You can edit files manually both by hex code and plain text, or quickly move changes blocks between files.

No align mode

During comparison Compare It tries to find and match same section in files, which could take long and is not always desirable. In some cases such scanning is not needed and all you need is to see files side-by-side to check how do bytes at same offsets match. This is exactly what No Align Mode does - files are loaded and different bytes at same offsets are highlighted. You can toggle this mode in menu Options > No Align Mode
