Please allow us an option to set our defaults ourselves

For example, I need to always use the "Include subdirectories" and the "Compare by Date or Content" options.

Having a chance to set my own configuration defaults is a very important feature.

Could you please implement this?...

Just to give you an example, every time you forget to tick the "include subdirectories" option you will never get what ytou need - but you might think you did!... It's very easy to miss this (should be system default for everyone, IMHO).

But last used configuration is always stored. Or do you suggest having some options set as default, so even if you have used it once without "Include subfolders", next time it starts with this option anyway?

Exactly!...

The option "Last used" could be one of the choices in the options screen for every item, then it would mimic the current behavior.

OK, I see. I think I will add ability to set some specific configuration to be used as default
