RAR dates incorrect

I use WinRAR 3.30. When I compare a directory to a RAR file all of the files show up as different. The difference is because of the dates. WinRAR does not sho seconds (although they return when I unRAR) while Windows XP does. Many of the dates are shown from WinRAR as bening 31/12/69 18:00. These corrupt date stamps show up right in WinRAR. Currently I have to unRAR to compare the data.

Please let me know what I need to do to be able to compare my current directory to my RAR compressed files.

I will check WinRAR settings needed, but may be short answer would help - check option "Ignore seconds, if not available" in Options/Archives.
