As I cannot Edit, I am modifying the original message with some additional comments:
It is more easy to explain you visually, in order to see the differences in the screen, you add special marks in order to visualize the differences, what I suggest, is to add marks to one or both files in order that after finish the comparation, it can be possible to change in batch these marks with the differences, for example:
we have a file1 with content the line:
example with a little difference
and file2 with the content:
example with a big difference.
What I suggest is to get a file with a content:
example with a <little> difference
or
example with <big> difference
depending on the file that I could use
in this way, if I have a file with a lot of differences, you can change all replacing the <> marks.
P.D.: You could use it as a slogan "Compare It marks the differences"
