auto command line option

Post by indra3040 »

I've been trying to run Synchronize It from command line to scan two folders, generate a difference report and exit automatically. It looks like whenever I specify the /auto option the program starts synchronizing automatically even if I do not specify /sync. Please provide an option in command line so that the program can scan, generate a report containing the differences and exit without updating/synchronizing the files.

/report option

Ok, it looks like whenever i specify the /report option with only /scan (no /auto or /sync etc.) , synchronize it exits after generating the report (there is a timeout).

Is that the desirable behaviour? If it is, then please update the help file accordingly.
