I use CompareIt regularly to compare PDF documents and Microsoft XLS spreadsheets and find the built in converters very useful. I would like to be able to compare open office documents (text files (.ODT), and Spreadsheets (.ODS)). I have experimented with setting up my own converter to call the open office exe with -pt (print to named printer) command line options, but with no success.
I was wondering if anyone else had managed to get CompareIt converters to process Open Office .ods or .odt files and coud share the setup.
Thanks
Richard
Converters for Open Office files
Re: Converters for Open Office files
There is some ODS converter at http://grigsoft.com/wc3addin.htm . Have you checked it?
Re: Converters for Open Office files
Cheers the Odf2Txt converter worked a treat on my open office spreadsheets. Once I read the documentation and used the /Out= parameter.
Thanks again, and sorry for the months I've taken to post this reply.
