[closed] Last char gone in Unicode files without ending CRLF

Post by dandv »

Usually, if you compare two files with the only difference being an extra end of line before EOF, CompareIt 3.8.1.1652 will correctly highlight that line.
It seems, though, that with UTF-8 files you may lose the last character of the file withough the extra end of line.

Please check http://home.arcor.de/dandv/bugs/compare ... r_gone.zip:
- a.txt and b.txt are compared correctly
- tm1.txt is missing the last character when compared to tm2.txt

Hope that helps,
Dan Dascalescu

Thank you, Dan! This seems to be a bug. I also work on your wordwrap report.
