[closed] Registration lost on install

A couple days ago I installed 2.89 and lost the registration information. Shouldn't registered software carry the registration ahead rather than require you to reenter the info? Or did I do something wrong? I used wcsetup.exe from wcsetup.zip.

In fact registration should be preserved. Which version you have used before?

It was the previous version -- within the past few months. I updated from the wincmp-3.zip file. This time I used the .exe.

If you have used 2.x version, your registration will not be preserved. You need new key - if you have not received it automatically, let me know along with your old key - I will send you one.
