Hi Igor,

sometimes when comparing images CI gives me the following error message:

Failed to read destination file!
This file is probably locked by other application.

When I check with unlocker, no locks are being shown. Even when I close all other programs, I still get that message. Other programs allow me to open the file too. Since CI does not edit the image file anyway, no lock would be needed.

This issue may be related to the following bug (which I think has not been addressed yet):

In fact latest beta should handle hidden files. Does this happen with image files only in your case? If you try to repeat same comparison several times - the error will remain? Also, what is image format, does it make a difference?

The problem remained for several trials and in several combinations, but disappeared after a while (reboot). Jpg files.
