Bugs 3.9.9.157

Post by brahman »

Hi Igor,

thank you for implementing comparison of a zipped file with the unzipped file within Total Commander :). (Can you also do it for SI - still getting message "This function cannot be used with packed files!").

Bug 1:
When I use this function in CI, at the top of the menubar the point "Register" appears, even though I am using a registered copy of CI. If I call up the program normally, this point does not appear. In both instances Help > About shows my copy as registered.

Bug 2:
Compare Folders: Typo "1. Select foldes:" should be "1. Select folders:"

Also the default should probably be "All Files" instead of C+.

Wishing you a happy new year.

Kind Regards,

Brahman

If that thing now works in Total Commander, this is complete result of Christian's work in TC. Message "This function cannot be used with packed files" also comes from TC

Defaut file types is taken from #1 in File filters settings.

Problem with "unregistered"is most interesting. How do you invoke it in TC?

CI is invoked via internal TC command:

cm_CompareFilesByContent

Check your wincmd.ini file for CompareTool switch - is it pointing to right version?

yes:
Comparetool=%commander_path%\Msc\Synchronize It!\wincmp3.exe

Addtl info: switched from unicode to non-unicode version.
