Nice thing, as I am using "/n,/e,{$ActiveFolder}" as Parameter for a long time (test it, will work as well, giving you a slightly different Explorer-Window) - and I just logged in to ask about a related bug: When SynchIt finds a file only on one side, the {$ActiveFolder}-Placeholder doesn't work on ...

Win98
After installing on a Win98-Computer, I get an Error about an missing "Export-SHELL32.DLL:StrStrIA". Is this a Problem of my PC or a Problem of CompareIt?

I don't think - it happened on the server of one of my websites, where some *nix-system is running. In one of the directories there was a softlink named "php" which linked to the directory itself and while watching the scanning process I saw an endless growing path in the statusline with many ".../p...

Something I came across with softlinks is the problem of cyclic structures (as already mentioned above): When comparing a directory which contains a soft link to itself, scanning never stops. So when scanning, SI should remember what has been scanned already - and if a softlink steps back into alrea...

Comparing folders
The options for report-files "include navigation" and "external css-file" are not remembered. You can set them, then click okay, than reopen the dialog and they are unset again. Hope is isn't related to translation .

Windows XP Home, 2002, SP2. Resolution 1280 x 800. Looks like it starts with vertical view (correctly splitted 50/50), then changes to horizontal view (splitted 100/0) after files are compared - I can see that when comparing two large files and comparison lasts some time. Surprisingly when pressing ...

Horizontal View (4.0.2114)
When using horizontal view, the lower pane is always minimized, so that I can see only the first file. This is very annoying to me - is it possible to change to the old behaviour (just like vertical view) where both files use about the half of the screen?

Okay, I focussed on the part "so that it does not overwrite the ini file on exit". So for now, I could import the copied file to let Synchronize It! recognize the changes? Four clicks, that okay. Otherwise I would open the file with notepad, close Synchronize It!, save the file with Notepad and then...

Icons in middle column
When synchronizing, these descriptive icons (showing direction or if a file is to be deleted) are changed into "=". I would like them to change into greyed out versions of the original icons so that you can see even afterwards what has happened. No big deal, but for people like me, who sometimes thi...
