Just downloaded it and received beta 1653 of April 29th.
Did you forget to update the file or is my provider doing some kind of caching?
Regards,
Brahman

Handle file as junctions broken in 1672
Hi Igor,
handle file as junctions is now broken in 1672.
Also - probably by mistake - version 1653 is in the download link now. 1672 was up yesterday late evening.

Hi Igor,

Encrypted FTP support (FTPS/FTPES)
Hi Igor, could we have support for SSL/TLS i.e. FTPES and FTPS in SI soon? If people like to use encrypted FTP on their own FTP servers to synch with SI (if and once Igor includes this feature): The free Filezilla FTP Server supports this. And I will save you hours and days of frustration by telling...

Sparse file of 10MB is copied as a zero byte file, so it does not work yet. You can try it yourself too with my synchronization-test-bed posted in an earlier message. I also cannot find how to toggle verify after preview but before copying. One simply adds the drive to the verify drive list or how d...

Hi Igor! In this thread you mentioned a "/I" switch equivalent to "/auto". I was not able to find a /I switch documented anywhere in SI help or blog. Are there more of such undocumented switches? Could you make a list of switches not in the current help file for SI and CI, so we can all use them? Th...

Junctions during Synchronizations
If I do a synchronization preview, junctions are on the target, not on source, copy junctions as files is checked:
SI wants to copy (as expected) junctions as files to source, but immediately after that the files behind the junction also to source (not as expected).
Regards,
B.

Here you can download my TC config file to replicate that column setup: http://www.box.net/shared/nlbay0g0ny And here you can download my Synchronization Testbed (mount it with Drive Snapshot - the trial version allows mounting even after trial ends - and you can copy out of it to your hearts conten...

To show information about links and junctions in TC: http://flint-inc.ru/eng/info/nlinfo.html To easily work with links in TC: http://flint-inc.ru/eng/info/ntfslinks.html The developer is a Russian (of course :)). Re. copying HLs: Yes, I thought about that too. When experimenting I figured that rsyn...

If that were true, then the two apps I mentioned (CP and rsync, but especially rsync) could not do what they do, namely duplicating an existing hard link structure from source to target without being specifically pointed to the hard file or told they are copying hard links and without any additional...

Hi Igor, great, it really looks like you are on the ball! :D While you are already working on this, maybe you could also look into enabling the duplication of an existing hard linked file structure on the target. The same utility mentioned above (cp) can do it and rsynch also does a great job with h...
