I repeated the test with the same folder structure but now as D:\Test1 and D:\Test2. I got the same "handle is invalid" upon deletion of the files in the Test2 tree that were not found in the Test1 tree.

Sorry to just now be getting back to this; I've been busy with my "real work" :) I can repro this reliably; the thing I neglected to mention is the target path is a mapped drive (Z) mapped to my laptop over on the shelf, also running XP Pro. I created a folder structure on the laptop Test\TestA and ...

1451 reports "Handle is invalid" on every delete

I think because for me, it's only in some specific scenarios that I would want to start that way - when checking source code in to a SCC system for example. Usually I would want to see the fu...

Commandline option for changes only

I use the "changes only" button quite a bit; I would like to be able to invoke CompareIt in that mode from the command line and save the extra click :)

Having been bitten by this issue again this morning, I am ready to beg :) I have a large synchronization task to do, with almost 500 files involved. Unfortunately they all differ in line ending: CRLF vs. LF. I have no effective way to identify the handful that are actually different. Using ComareIt ...

Conversion of old ini file issue with exclusion lists

I had several sessions in my winsin.ini file which included lists of folders to exclude. When I ran those sessions with wndsync I saw the folders were not being excluded. I believe the reason is that winsin allowed lists of folder names to be blank-separated, while wndsync wants them to be semicolon...

Huh? There was a wndsync.arc file the last two times I downloaded wndsync. Note I am downloading the zip version (no installer).

In the meantime, as was noted here, you can edit the .ini file...
