Re: Error in directory filtering
I got a notification because of a new reply on this topic - but there is none. Is the forum-software buggy?

Pause comparing
When comparing a large list of files, sometimes I want to synchronize a file found in the process immediatelly instead of waiting for the whole comparison to finish. Actually I can't synchronize while compare is in progress and the only possibility for synchronizing is to stop the comparison - which...

Re: changed timestamp (eml-files, Windows 7)
With about more than 100.000 files compared over a not always fast USB-connection? That might be a solution, but it doesn't remove the source of the problem. Having microsoft changing the date of other files, too (who knows the next idea of that sick brains ;)?) that may lead to more and more files ...

contextmenu for recursive actions
Sometimes I come over a directory, that contains many subfolders, but no files. In that case I can't use the recursive actions for the directoy itself, but only for any subfolder separately (which makes it not really usefull). How about having the possibility to use recursive actions for directories...

changed timestamp (eml-files, Windows 7)
I use SynchronizeIt! with the option to check date an size (for performance reasons). On Windows 7 someone changes the timestamp of various eml-files (I assume, it's something with the searchindex). Those files were exported by OutlookExpress years ago and have never been used since then, so I'm def...

Re: Matching directories
Maybe I'm the only one having complicated sychronizings ;) - but another great thing would be, if one could set a '-' resp. '+' infront of a foldermask to specify it as excluding resp. including mask. Having this, sometimes I could use one session to store a job instead of 5 or more. Could be handle...

Collecting sessiondata by click
Not a good headline - I will try to explain: I'm currently building up a new synch-szenario for my pcs at home. While doing that, I start comparing with a basis directory. Then I find some subfolders that shouldn't be compared. I write down the names (or try to remember them), go back to session-pag...

Re: Error in directory filtering
The problem with the leading "\" deleted is already solved with the new version.

Re: Matching directories
Okay - so it is a simpler version of the syntax I suggested. With that you could possibly write "/foo/bar/*:9" to have a depth-limit of 11 (for the whole path). Therefore syntax-definition should be: If there is no '*' at the end of a mask, a '*' is added automatically. A simple '*' will match any f...

Re: Matching directories
That's exactly what I meant. You can filter for a folder-name in any position, but you can't for a folder-name in a special position.
Is there an explanation for the depth-limit-feature - how (and for what) can I use it?

Changes in sessiondata not saved
If the program asks you to save the changed data in the situation described above - does it save it to disk (ini-file) or only to memory? I'm asking because I changed a lot of things, everytime clicking on "Yes" when asked to save. Then windows decided to stop working and after a restart all my chan...

Matching directories
I searched a while but did't find anything appropriate - Is there a possibility to do something like the following: Having a folder (users directory on windows), I want to compare only some subfolders, but these for every containing folder e.g. compare "/user1/pictures", "/user1/documents", "/user1/...
