Bug using CI with Hard Linked Files
Hi Igor, if I change a file that is hard linked via junctions to other files with any normal editor then all the hard linked files change when doing a save. (You may need to do a refresh in your file explorer to see the changed date/size.) If, however, I compare a (somehow random) file with a file t...

This is very good. Great work! Especially point 3 I was missing before and it will come in very handy. :D I assume that the filters in point 3 will not just work for pure extensions, but also for f.e. "subproject1\contracts*.rtf; subproject2\website*.html; letter?.doc" - is that correct? Will this c...

I know it is probably a good deal of work to add such a function, but I would like to agree with spitfire and second his request. I have seen some other software automatically figure out the moved files and adjust the target accordingly in their preview and I must say: "This is a really cool feature...

For the benefit of other users, I wanted to give some links about the topic in this thread: Junction points are a powerful tool in Windows XP and Vista. Yet in XP there are no tools and no information in the help documentation about them. If some readers would like to know more about them or their u...

Yes, I think that would be useful as an additional option, but not at the expense of the new option "copy junctions as files". It should remain there. Maybe like this with radio buttons which only allow one option to be selected: Folder Junctions: () Copy Junction as File () Follow Folder Links () S...

Help File
The Help File states under "File List": "By default files in collapsed folders are synchronized just as usual. In some cases you may find it good to change this behaviour to ignore files in closed folders. You can change this setting in View > Options > Settings" but actually this item is to be foun...

Thank you very much, Igor. Fantastic! Works like a charm. I tested it extensively and found that it also works as expected when deleting junctions. Not even TC can copy junctions! Congratulations and well done! BTW I know of NO OTHER synching program out there that can do this! Another FIRST for Syn...

Hi, a similar technique can be used by users of Total Commander to open the file in bold under a new tab in TC: In Options / User Tools add an entry "TotCmd Left Bold Path" or similar with Command: %Commander_path%\TOTALCMD.EXE Parameters: /O /T /L={$ActiveFolder} Since I am calling SI from the TC i...

The way I make the session list more orderly: You can move the sequence of sessions up and down. I delegate all session that are used in projects to the bottom and all sessions that are used by itself to the top of the list. This way I can handle much more sessions without the list becoming too cumb...

It would be great to right-click on the left or right pane and choose "delete all common parts" or "delete all different parts". I would like to second chrizoo's suggestion. Seems like a nice addition that is not too difficult to implement (of course most things are not too difficult for Igor) :) !...
