Request: Rest Status for file already synced

There are times when I want to re-copy the same file or set of files over and over again -- right now I have to rerun the entire compare, or setup a filter for that particular run. It would be great if I could right click on a file or click a button to reset the flags so that I could sync again.

That's all I was curious about :)

FYI: The "No confirmations" checkbox doesn't seem to work in the current download. Even when I check it, I still get prompted to overwrite files.

Maybe you can test it for us? :) This will be plain dll, with functions lile Compare Files(file1, file2, output)., so it should be usable from any language and environment. One possible problem could be complex output structure, probably marked as unsafe in .Net (multipl pointers etc.) I would be m...

Exactly. We are planning to have 2 versions - dll version with simple interface to do files/lines comparison, without any GUI - for those who just need comparison results. And ActiveX version, which will give full Compare It! interface for those who want to let user do comparison himself. The price...

:)) No, it didn't die. Since it turned that interface still requires some thinking, I have moved my efforts to Compare It! activeX control, which is already ready. So I hope soon we will have new update for SI3. You mention an activeX control? Is that something we can use in our code to do compares?

7 ) What about changing the Compare by to a dropdown checklist box?

No reason in fact - may be texts will be more descriptive, but dropped checklist is hard to handle.
The thought is that it would be nice to select custom combination of the "Compare" options

Thoughts on v1.0.1131

Here are some thoughts I had after looking at the latest release :) 1 ) It's really starting to come together :) 2 ) Need more tool tips, (+... is not really an intuitive icon <grin>) 3 ) Need text next to the Exclude Folder dropdown (I thought it was filters at first) 4 ) Add the ability to have "E...

Will there be a quick way to "rescan". Basically, I use the same settings, and wind up sync'ing multiple times a day (push code to dev, then test, then prod servers). It would be nice to sync, then hit F5 to refresh the current scan or something like that.

I agree -- I to am EXTREMELY cautious before sync'ing -- better to be safe than sorry :)
