| Adding Shortcuts to External Applications |

You can use the Customize command on the Tools menu to add a shortcut to one or more external applications.
To add a shortcut to another application:
- Choose .
The Customize it! dialog box appears.
- In the Tools box, click
.
- In the Name field, type the name of the application, as you want to see it in the Tools menu.
- In the Command field, use the browse button to select the executable for the application.
- Use the Parameters field and selection button to define startup parameters for the application.
- Click the Close button.
The shortcut to the application now appears as a menu item in the Tools menu.
To remove a shortcut to another application:
- Choose .
The Customize it! dialog box appears.
- In the Tools box, select the shortcut you want to remove and click
.
- At the confirmation dialog box, click the Yes button.
- Click the Close button.
The shortcut is removed from the Tools menu.
To open compared file with associated application:
You may want to setup a tool to start associated with current file application (like MS Word for .doc files).
Instead of configuring multiple tools for different file types, you can get small WinStart application from our add-ins page.
If configured as "winstart.exe {$ActivePath}", it will start appropriate application to handle whatever file you have compared.
