Comment to Build 1.0.994.

Post by Heinz Schmidt »

First let me say , the new interface feels very good to me.

I like the new popup-functions to mark complete file-sets of folders
very well. But I think there is one bug :
The Popup-Item "All >>" seems to work like "Recursive -> All >>" ?!

The Button "show Copy to source files only" has wrong Tooltip-message.
The Button "show files to delete only" has no Tooltip-message.

I hope you will do a workaround to the project/sessions-functionality.
The idea of "MKairys" : "Everything is a project, that has one ore more sessions" could be a good way in my own opinion.

Thank you
Heinz Schmidt

Yes, you are right, I will fix this (and tooltip too).

As for projects/Sessions, I'm thinking this over at the moment.

If a project feature like in current version 2 is not available, then I most certainly will have big trouble switching to v3. I have a lot of projects that combine lots of file-sets to update sources to several locations on our network.

Current alpha projects is much like v2, so would fit my needs just fine, I assume.
I'll test some more and see if I can work out a suggestion.

Hello,
Projects will surely be present, since it is a good feature. However the problem is swtching/editing - it is not very obvious and nice, so I'm trying to find a way of good visual representation.

Ah, ok, I didn't follow the discussion closely so I missed this point, sorry.

But I'll still think about the look & feel of that dialog ;-)
