Not viewing Registry files

I've just downloaded a demo version of your Compare It program and tried to view two registry files. However, all I get is a garbled mess on both sides. Give it its due though, both garbled messes are the same.. LOL Does the program view registry files? If so, what am I doing wrong?

Sorry, for some reasons I have missed this post in December.
Compare It! does not compare registry files, but it can compare text exports quickly.
