Decidng on acquisition

Post by clarindogueiros »

I am interested in CompareIt and have downloaded it for a trial. Am I correct in assuming that this trial version is not fully functional (example: testing two files and adding differences found, after saving the altered file it will not be read in Word, etc. because the new contents are reported as corrupted)? In other words, only with the acquisition of CompareIt and proper registration will the save procedure be functional or would this be a problem with my program configuration?

Would appreciate very much a comment on my attempted experimentation with CompareIt.

Thank you for interest!
No, trial version is fully functional - Doc files can be edited, but not saved - because only text is extracted from files with all formatting lost. So if you need to edit and save doc files, you probably need some other tool.
