%USERPROFILE% for exclusion list

Postby Kizza » Mon Sep 26, 2011 7:30 pm

I use SI! for cleaning the user profile folder from build up of unnecessary dirs/files(I compare it to SI!'s snapshots(wonderful feature!)).
Usually I exclude *\documents; *\pictures...and so on - this poses a problem because some apps have a dir structures such as : \appname\stuff\pictures\*
The existence of the sub-dir \pictures means that the \appname folder is never completely emptied and therefore SI! does not clean \appname .

If we could apply env-variables inside the exclusion list this would help to solve the problem, for instance:
%USERPROFILE%\pictures
I've tried setting custom variables eg $(variablename), to env-vars and then using them in the exclusion list, however this has the effect of including the dir again(its not valid).

Thanks
