Would be nice to see a multi-threaded copy

Hmm, I have never thought about it. I will make some testing to find, if it makes sense in local/network copying. Do you have any positive experience with it?

IMHO it would just make the chance of a less secure copy bigger. That would be if copying local or through lan connection.
Multithreaded copy to a removable device like floppy, zip or ls-120 would not see any speedchange I assume, as the 'channel' is already totally filled with data.

Also, cancelling a copy would be virtually impossible, as there are several copy's halfway through :(

It's nice for a technical challenge, but I don't see much good for it.

Well, if I will find that this approach could make reasonable speed increase (at least 50%), I will add this as an option. Problem with cancel is not too bad - right now cancel is just stopping next copying, after current one is finished. With multiple copying in process, cancel will wait for all of them to finish.
