Cope with servers in different time zones

Post by ian clarke »

I sync to two servers. One is in the UK and one is in the USA. The problem is that the USA server uses a time stamp which is 8 hours earlier than my local time.

A suggested solution would be to have a variable in each "FTP CONNECTION" setting for time compare with a +/- 12 hour offset.

Hope this makes sense!!

This feature would eliminate the need for the list files which I am currently struggling with.

For now you can adjust general settings to ignore 8 hours difference in Options>Settings>Ignore NTFS daylight savings. It should work for FTP too. Later on I think I will add this option for FTP server properties.
