winsin executed from task scheduler not working

Post by gizmow »

Hallo,

I don't now if this is the correct place to query this problem, but is the more suitable I saw in the forum.

We are using winsin (v 2.81) to backup files through a 4Mbps LAN extension, executing it with task scheduler (W2000 server). We execute a backup.cmd file with this line:

C:\scripts\winsin.exe /S=f:\users_folders /D=\\master\e$\backup /R /B /I /auto /log=c:\scripts\winsin.log /log+ /log0

The problem is that winsin does not finish (the copy starts at 23:00 and at 9:00 next day is still running). The process is listed in task manager, but is doing nothing.

If we execute the backup.cmd directly, it works perfectly, but not from Task Scheduler.

Any help will be appreciated.

Regards,

Antonio.

Unfortunately, Synchronize It! currently can not work without logged user,
since even in /auto mode it displays a window. This is current design
limitation, and it will fixed in upcoming version 3.
