Problem when comparing with CDRW

Post by ubose »

When I first synchronize my data folders on a hard drive with a CDRW, all my folders are copied over as expected. But when I scan the same two source and destination again, it gives me my source folders as out of date. This is happening, I believe, because the folders on the CDRW got the current system date and time stamp. This is happening in spite of putting a check mark in the "Ignore date and time" checkbox. What is the solution? Thank you.

Are you sure your files were copied correctly? Because when "Ignore date and time" check is used, files are compared binary, byte-by-byte, so it should be listed only if content differs
